The 31st World Veterinary Congress will take place at the Prague Congress Centre (PCC).
The Prague Congress Centre is one of the modern architectural landmarks of Prague and the largest convention and culture centre in the Czech Republic. The Centre has at its disposal 20 halls and 50 meeting rooms, with a capacity from 12 to 2764 persons.
The Congress Centre enjoys a unique location on one of Prague's hills, and is one of the dominant features of the capital of the Czech Republic. From here you can view the wonderful panorama of Prague over the river Vltava and the surrounding widespread parks, reflecting the silhouette of Prague Castle and its many steeples and towers of churches, cathedrals, palaces, and the ancient buildings of the nearby historic centre.
A project for the third millennium, the Prague Congress Centre is fitted with high-quality equipment in terms of audiovisual technology, air-conditioning, energy connections and communications, ISDN data links, GSM and modern hall technologies. The quality of these amenities ensures that the Prague Congress Centre complies with required international standards.
It is easily accessible by both public and private transport. Metro station Vysehrad is only 2 minutes from the PCC and the venue has extensive parking facilities.
- How to reach Prague Congress Centre (PCC) -
The Prague Congress Centre can be easily reached by metro line C (red line), you have to go to the station „VYSEHRAD“. The PCC is located just in front of the metro station.
Tickets can be purchased in automatic machines at each metro station or at news stands. The ticket costs 32 Czech crowns (approx. 1,30 EURO) and is valid for 90 minutes.
Please note that you need to mark the ticket when you enter the metro / tram / bus for the first time.
